EVENT MARKETING EXECUTIVE / CONFERENCE PRODUCER / EVENT ADMINISTRATOR

EVENT MARKETING EXECUTIVE

(Female Only)
Job Location: Parkway Parade, Marine Parade Road

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key role is to sell high-priced premium conferences to major global companies daily over the phone. We are looking for open minded individuals who are not afraid of contacting top executive-level decision-makers. In addition you will need excellent verbal communications skills & capacity to learn and research on various conference subjects and business issues.

To achieve this goal, duties will encompass:

• Customer Relationship Management
- Nurture rapport with key customer accounts to enhance sales
- Draw up promotional campaign activities like direct mail, fax and email marketing
- Strategize to retain existing, acquire new and re-activate ‘lapse’ customers
- Identify and negotiate with specialized print and/or on-line media & professional bodies

• Sales
- Establish, manage and direct all sales activities for company’s events.
- Implement telesales strategies to maximize event registrations from target accounts.
- Cooperate with Production team to target promotion activities to existing and new accounts
- Ensure event sales revenue targets are met

An Event Marketing Executive is expected to manage promotional campaigns / activities of at least 1 event per month.

QUALITIES & SKILLS REQUIRED
A proven track record in telesales, recruitment, media sales or any sales that require high volume of outbound calls. We are looking for open minded individuals who are not afraid of making intelligent sales.

• Good telesales and negotiation skills
• Motivated and enthusiastic team player

WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 1 - 2 years of commercial experience in key sectors like sales, marketing, research, energy, chemicals, project management etc.

AGE
Below 28 years

EDUCATION
Min Diploma in Diploma / Degree in Marketing preferred, however those with telemarketing / telesales / CRM / Database / Events management experience may be considered if suitable

CONFERENCE PRODUCER

(Female Only)
Reporting to : Country Manager
Liaises with Marketing and Customer Service
Job Location : Parkway Parade, Marine Parade Road

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Researching the viability of conference ideas for the global market.
• Contacting through phone and meetings, the target market to determine what subjects are needed by the market.
• Researching in detail the conference program and putting together a complete draft program.
• Contacting potential speakers mainly by phone, and selling them onto the program.
• Writing promotion copy for promotional letters and brochure.
• Seeing the brochure and through artwork.
• Working with the marketing department to ensure that they are targeting the right market & providing continual product support.
• Keeping contact with Customer Service to ensure that the arrangements for the conference are going smoothly.
• Managing the conference on the day, particularly looking after the speakers.
• Constantly searching for new conference ideas.

A Conference Producer is expected to produce 10 events per year.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Work background is as important as above. A university degree & with at least one year of commercial experience in Market Research, Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Publishing, Journalism, Sales & Marketing sector is preferred

Note : The performance of a producer is totally measurable, both in quantity of output, quality of output, and profitability. There is nowhere to hide, so this is Not a Job for Someone who Doesn’t like to be Measured.

EVENTS ADMINISTRATOR

(Female Only)
Job Location: Parkway Parade, Marine Parade Road

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Negotiate with suppliers
• Provide administrative event support.
• Maintain registration records as well as administrative enquiries for events. As you will be interacting with customers at all levels, you will be expected to maintain good customer relationships.
• Coordinate or manage events.
• Responsibilities include general department duties such as ordering office supplies, making travel arrangements, co-ordination of publicity activities
• Ensuring prompt billing of invoices, timely fees collection, maintaining budget and expenses.

REQUIREMENTS:
• A minimum of 2 years related experience or in Administration.
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong ability in client retention.
• Fluent in English & Mandarin or a second European language is desirable
• Computer literate in all major softwares. (Incl. MS office - excel, powerpoint, word etc).
Good with numbers/figures. Organised and meticulous.
• Ability to communicate with people of all levels of management comfortably and concisely
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask with tight deadlines
• Possess Initiative and ability to work independently.
• A strong team player with excellent communication and people skills
• Must be willing to travel extensively overseas

AGE
25 years and below, single

EDUCATION
Min Diploma & at least 2 years working experience preferably in Administration.
